On the basis of his principles, Anonimo has created the watch line “Opera Meccana” which is primarily a precise concept rather than a simple and concise statement. "Opera" is related to the Latin "opus-operis" in order to remind the spirit of craftsmanship which has been influencing our land and culture for so many centuries. "Opera" also refers to the idea of musical harmony which is a universal concept shared worldwide.

"Meccana" is the fusion of the two words "Meccanica" and "Arcana" which mean respectively "mechanical" and "mysterious" and it refers to those treatises of alchemy and esoteric philosophy that were called “Opera Arcana “ in the Middle Ages. Anonimo wanted to espouse these concepts with the conviction that watches are miracles of perfect mechanics and craftsmanship and therefore created the "Opera Meccana” collection, faithful to the great Florentine tradition in precision mechanics and watch making.
